Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (Nurarihyon no Mago) has recently announced on its official website that the 2nd season of the series is coming this July. The first season to me seems quite above the average rating of series during the season it was aired.
The series is fun even though I do not really like the voice of Aya Hirano, the voicer behind Kana Ienaga. The story this time will be something related to the new character on the official website who will be voiced by Mamiko Noto (能登 麻美子). Will bring further detail in the coming days.
Rikuo Nura is part human and a quarter Youkai (demon). Rikuo is able to turn into his Youkai form only after the sunsets when the moon is out, he turns back into his human self when the sun rises. This happens because he is only a quarter Youkai. He lives in a house full of spirits along with his Youkai grandfather. Trying to escape his fate of acting like a Youkai, he does good deeds in order to avoid becoming one, despite his grandfather’s wish to succeed him as master of the Nura Youkai clan. Rikuo is a different Youkai because he helps humans. He eventually comes to terms with his demon blood and decides to take up the position of Young head of the Nura house. Multiple factions aim to stop him or overtake his position, and he must gather friends and allies, a new Hyakki Yakou under his banner of “Fear”. (via Wikipedia)
