Mysterious Girlfriend X/Nazo no Kanojo X Episode 2 Thoughts

I guess if Mysterious Girlfriend X has taught me anything it is that you have to remember that seeing panties comes before holding hands and your first date.  Also your girlfriend can find out what you fantasize about at night by eating your spit and she is probably keeping a pair of scissors in her panties.  Girls now frighten me.  🙁  Can’t you just tell this series is going to have a strange cult following.

Tsubaki has caught himself one strange girl.  She has negative social skills and isn’t able to communicate properly with him.  Despite being so weird Urabe is such an interesting character.  I really want to know how she can use scissors like she does and why her saliva acts like a very powerful drug.

I just don’t know what to think of this series.  Does it make me feel uncomfortable, a little; is it gross, yes; is it weird, double yes.  It is hard to say where this series is going.  Will the duration of the series be about Tsubaki and Urabe’s strange relationship or is there something else here.  I feel as if episode 2 wasn’t as good as the first episode.  Maybe the series lost some of its “saliva” shock value.  Throughout the first episode the drool stuff shocked me but now it is already getting old and it is only the second episode.  Well despite what I said, Mysterious Girlfriend X is a very interesting and pretty original series.  What do you guys think of the series so far?  Do you love it or is it a little too weird for you.
