My old DSLR camera is the Nikon D5000. I’ve not been satisfied with it because I bought the wrong camera. The reason would be because, the day I came to repair my Alienware M15x laptop (scratch screen because of a design flaw) my dad suddenly ask me if I want to buy my first DSLR camera. I was like soo excited and rushed my decision to buy one, without even doing my research on which one I should buy. So, it has been around 6 months since I bought the camera. Finally, I am able to sell it to my cousin’s husband for RM 3000. What I sold to him was my old camera of course with kit lens, extra batteries, a flash, camera bag, 8gb memory card, tripod, remote release and a portrait lens.

So about the new camera I’m going to buy. I’m interested in buying myself either Canon 7D or Canon 5D Mark II. I’ve done a lot of research by reading reviews and asking questions. So I’ve made my decision to buy myself the legendary Canon 5d Mark II. What I like about the camera is because it is a full-frame DSLR camera. What is a full-frame you say? A full-frame camera has zero crop factor or a focal length multiplier of one. A 50mm lens on a full-frame SLR captures images just like a 50mm lens on a film SLR camera. . The advantage of having a full-frame DSLRs is it can capture larger, higher quality images. Other than that, a full-frame SLRs can use standard wide-angle lenses to capture dramatic landscapes and building interiors. I’m also going to buy a EF50mm f/1.4 USM lens to take portrait pictures and a EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens to take other pictures such as landscape pictures and ect.
