Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun Episode 7

I think this is the best episode, out of all the episodes that is out so far for this series. It’s just freaking hilarious, that I can’t stop laughing all the way through the anime. Why is it better than the other episodes? Well there is Mikorin for a start and just about every single joke hit the mark for me.

I’m a little bit disappointed that it wasn’t an actual date for Sakura and Nozaki. Poor Sakura needing to go through all those stuff just for Nozaki to find more inspiration and reference for his work. Instead of saying the obvious, lets think about it in a different way maybe. What if Nozaki is actually into Sakura? Sometimes people hide their true feelings and cover it up with something else. For some reason I can’t get it out of my mind. I just think it’s all made up by Nozaki while taking advantage for materials and reference for his work. I might just be overthinking in the end, but as always i’d like to think of the possibilities.

So the best part is when both of them meet Mikorin, where he was caught looking at the bishojou figures. How he turned the box so the figure couldn’t be seen made it even better. His face and reaction was hilarious, it just cracked me up. The bishounen part where Nozaki actually tries to wear the uniform is really funny as well. I kinda know that Nozaki was going to give Sakura the sailor uniform, but I still laughed. Maybe we can see Sakura wearing it next time? Who knows.

The other half of the show is quite great as well. Mikorin doing all bishoujo posing is hilarious! Mikorin is the best girl this season and also the best bishoujo, do doubt about that! We need Mikorin to overthink stuff, so that we can get the best out of him. More Mikorin is just great and i’m sure no one can get enough of him. For some reason I don’t think we will be able to see all of the main characters together this season, maybe on the last episode? I hope there is an episode with all of them together.

I’m glad the spotlight is not on Mikorin and Nozaki only this week. You get to see all of those cute Sakura reactions as well, which is great. The way she rejects Mikorin is cute, just look at her angry chibi face. Haha! I just laughed thinking about it. Overall Gekkan no Shoujo Nozaki-kun is doing better in the comedy department this week compared to Barakamon. It’s so hard to pick which one is better. What do you all think, Gekkan no Shoujo Nozaki-kun or Barakamon is better overall at the moment?
