Tonari no Kaibutsukun Episode 1 Thoughts

I’m back. Yes I know it took me a while.. So lets get down with the new season! Watching the PV of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun makes me pick up this anime in an instant. I know it’s going to be funny, silly and with a little bit of romance. I was right and i’m really happy with the direction of the anime so far.

Shizuku is just… Okay I love that girl. Well she’s so serious and quiet but at the same time so cute! And she doesn’t react like I think she will most of the time. Like I didn’t expect to see her throw stuff back at Haru and then take off. And I didn’t expect her to hug him. And I didn’t expect her to have that calm reaction after the punch. She’s just … awesome. Haru on the other hand is just … asdskhgalfhgh so random, wild and so adorable. So far there is only two main characters in the show. There is actually another one(maybe) but he hasn’t been introduced that well yet. Kenji seems like a character that will make the show interesting, so lets see if he is going to play a big role in the anime soon.

The anime is fun to watch and i’m really enjoying it. I know that most girls will enjoy the show because of Haru, so i’m definitely going to ask my friends to watch this.(For girls, not so sure about boys though) I’m not so sure what to expect in the next episode but just this episode it seems like an entire season of most show’s, so i’m interested to see how this plays out. The potential is definitely there and I hope this anime will maintain its romance, randomness and hilarious moments.
