Robotics;Notes Anime Preview

Today is June 28^th, the release date of the Robotics;Notes visual novel in Japan.  People are probably lining up right now to get it.  In celebration here is the Preview of the Robotics;Notes anime set to air on television in the fall.

In the near future, a device popularly called the PokeCom, packaged with PhoneDroid OS spreads, bringing the Augmented Reality world close to existence. Chuuoutanegashima High School’s Robot Research Club is in danger of losing its club status. Kaito Yashio, one of only two members, is only obsessed with robot fighting games, showing no interest in the Robot Club even in this situation. The reckless, useless club head, Akiho Senomiya, aims to complete a giant robot, struggling hard to avoid losing the club’s status. Then, one day, Kaito discovers the A.R. annotation that becomes the Kimishima Report. Written in that report is the indictment of someone named Kou Kimishima’s conspiracy involving the world.  (MyAnimeList)

A little but vague of a series synopsis, unfortunately above is the best I could find online.  Also the Preview doesn’t provide us with any information.  What I do know is Production I.G is animating it.  I’m not really sure why they didn’t give this one to White Fox because they were able to turn Steins;Gate into a hit. I guess White Fox has their hands full with the Steins;Gate movie and Jormungand season 2. At the least Production I.G will provide us with some pretty animation.  Maybe this is just what Production I.G needs to prove that it can still make decent anime, (I’m still pissed over Guilty Crown and Shining Hearts).  I really hope that production I.G doesn’t screw this anime up.  I am not expecting it to be as good as Steins; Gate but I hope that at the least it is better than Chaos; Head.  Well, I am looking forward to the third installment of the Science Adventure Series and I hope you are too.
