Wow this is late…but it was my birthday and shit so I wasn’t really in the state of mind to do anime reviews. It took me way to long to watch this episode. I started it one day and finished it the next. Not really sure why but I kept getting distracted. Even the Red Sox game where they were loosing (like usual, its been that kind of year for Boston) seemed much more interesting then this episode. I was so lazy that I didn’t even bother to download the episode. I watched it in 240p on gogoanime, or one of those billions of sites that steal and then stream anime in shitty quality. So lets get to the episode, was it bad? No not really, but it failed to keep my interest. I think I spent the whole episode staring at Nobuna’s breasts, I really hope she is 18. I pretty sure the animators are sucking at the character models. I kept staring because some shots they look small and some shots they look larger. The animators are trying to fuck with me. No one else on the Internet seemed to notice this so maybe I’m starting to see things or maybe it was just the 240p. I mean I am getting only, I’m 20 now so maybe my eyesight is failing me.
There are way to many characters already. I’m not going to bother trying to learn their names because I am in summer vacation mode…I don’t have the brain capacity to learn anything. I’m just going to call them by whatever I feel like it, so lead dude will be called Monkey. Okay it time for a new subject, that Yoshimoto fellow is a true player and he made my skin crawl. I hope Monkey castrates him so he can never again mess with poor girls. He belongs in the movie Hard Candy…so Ellen Page can torture him and make him wish his mama never birthed him. Okay maybe I am making him out to be too much of a pedophile and I apologize for the non-anime references that have nothing to do with anything (I’m just trying to take up space haha). Nevertheless Yoshimoto is a jerk. No man should ever marry a woman that he doesn’t love. I felt so bad when Nobuna asked if he loved her and he said no. At least she has her Monkey. He will love and protect her forever.
So we still have no idea how the hell monkey got to this time period or anything about his life in the modern era. I am actually pretty interested about this subject. I wonder if the anime or the light novel touches on this. He can’t just stay in Sengoku era forever can he? What will happen if he goes back to the modern era??? What will happen with Nobuna and their relationships? I have all these questions!!!
It time for me to quote what someone said on MAL forums for this episode. “I hope for harem addition in the next episode. Maybe we can include Yoshimoto and megane Ieyasu. /evil grin” Here is my response, if that were to ever happen, I will break you and drop this series without a second thought. I really hope this series doesn’t turn completely into a harem. I really wish this series didn’t have as much romance as it does but if it has to have it just let it be between Monkey and Nobuna. I already have enough harem as it is with Arcana.
Well it looks like there is a war coming next episode. Hopefully we will get a lot of action. Action is good! Action is good! Action is good! Action! Alright thank for reading my terrible thoughts :p Have a nice day.
