Kokoro Connect Episode 8&9 Thoughts

Hey everyone how it going?  Sorry about the double late post.  A new semester just started which meant driving 10 hours and moving into a new place.  That coupled with bio freaking sucks.  Now that I’m all settled in, it is time to dive back into the world of anime.

Episodes 8 somehow manages to make everyone worse off than they were before.  The whole group is torn apart by these damn impulses, I HOPE YOUR HAPPY Heartseed.  Because of you Yui is locked in her room, Taichi assaults Iori and Yoshifumi is consumed with jealousy.  Meanwhile as shit is going down Himeko is doing nothing.  It really looks likes she gave up on her friends; she is really making it easy to hate her.  She could at the least hear Iori out.

I was surprised Taichi, Mr. Selfless freak decided to give up, although it was for such a short time.  Mr. Goto, Maiko, and Taichi’s sister to a point are able to talk some sense into him and he goes back to his normal self.  As episode 8 turns into episode Taichi decides he really needs to bring everyone together and Iori agrees.  (They are so cute together!)  Taichi starts with Yoshifumi and they make up before you can blink an eye.  They decide they need to work on Yui; what goes down between them is hilarious.  Not only does Yoshifumi convince her to go to school but he also tries to get her to go to a love hotel with him, so awkward.  He claims that although he is sexually attracted to her, he could hold back every urge.  I’m not so sure about that, but Yui could beat his ass if he tried anything.

Anyway, next week is class trip!  Will Himeko’s withheld feeling destroy any chance of everything turning back to normal, we will see on Saturday and I will actually get my review out on time, I promise.
