All right so that was a drama filled mess but what else would you expect from a class trip. I remember my high school trips, everyone used that time to hook up and I guess Kokoro Connect isn’t too different. I’m glad to say that as we slowly near the end of the series Kokoro Connect has managed to stay a strong series and true to itself. If the last 2 episodes stay consistent and the anime has a good ending, Kokoro Connect could easily be my favorite anime of the season.
I’m glad to say that acting on impulse is over. Heartseed is finally fulfilled, but not before some real drama goes down and Himeko shows her true colors. I have to say for the first time in Kokoro Connect I feel sympathetic towards Himeko. She isn’t a bad person after all. All her actions, despite how misguided they are a times are all because she cares for her friends. She is willing to be miserable to make her friends happy, even if that means not confessing who she really is. Maybe you can say that Himeko is the selfless freak, and not Taichi. She is very misguided on who her friends truly are. Himeko believed that her friends don’t want a weakling such as herself but what she didn’t realized is that her friends love her despite her flaws.
It was good that Himeko was finally able to express her love was Taichi. Kenta said it last week, and everyone was probably thinking that Himeko was in love with him. It is going to make for an interesting final two episodes, a love competition. At this point I don’t really care who wins. Both girls are cute, who ever wants him more I guess will win but my money is on Iori.
Thanks for reading! Until next time!
