Fate/Zero Episode 21 Thoughts

The first thing I’ve noticed about this episode is the budget they used for this particular episode alone. Just look at the gif above damn it was amazing. I really love the bokeh effect and the lighting they use it was nice and the reflection at some point was nice as well. I was wondering how Saber’s bike have all those armor thingy in the motorcycle, so after watching this episode now we know how she gets it :p I pre-ordered the Saber bike figure by the way, what about you? Other stuff that was really confusing was why Rider didn’t carry Irisviel with him, turns out Berserker could transform himself into some other form. Cool! It’s was all planned by Kirei and it works according to plan.

Rider being careless attempting to counter Saber’s Excalibur head-on cost him his ride. His thinking was all wrong, because he thinks it requires Saber some time to do her Excalibur move. I know it took a while when she use it on Caster, that is because it’s one big giant octopus. I think Saber knows in the end that it wasn’t Rider who kidnapped Irisviel thanks to Kiritsugu maybe. Kiritsugu himself did some investigation in the end, so it’s possible Kiritsugu told Saber about it and ask her to chase for Kariya instead. I’m not quite sure what to talk about Kariya, other then the fact that he killed the one he actually love? His intention was good but the way he did it was wrong, plus there has to be some other way than joining the Holy Grail War(about the path he took).

Zouken looks very powerful but I think Kirei could take him out quite easily. I hope they will fight each other at some point because I want more action. This episode was good, much better then last week’s. Not quite sure what will happen next but my guess it will be the end of Kariya’s life. All his misery and all his regret will end in the next episode. Hate to see him suffer but I think it’s for the better. I’d like to apologize for the late post, i’ve been busy lately and I hope I’ll be able to catch up. Later.
