I’m going to have to say episode 11 of Accel World was the best episode yet.  It was what I have been waiting for, a doss of constant action.  We finally get to see Black Lotus in action and Silver Crow was pretty badass himself.  In episode 11 not only did it have an awesome sacrifice scene but we also got to see a lot of new attacks by different characters, my favorite being Yellow Radio’s marry-go-round move.

Yellow Radio being the jerk he is gets his army to try to pick off Haru’s team of 4.  (He was also the one who gave the armor to Chrome Disaster) He ends up failing but he is able to take out Taku, poor guy.  His army was king of lame, could he only enlist a bunch of level ones?  Black Lotus was able to take so many out with one hit.  There was an awesome showdown between the two before Yellow Radio is impaled by Chrome Disaster…sucks for him.

So my thought on the animation…Sunrise Studio really knows what they are doing when it comes to action.  It looked great.  My favorite parts were the facial expression.  A great example was when Scarlet Rain looked really bloodthirsty at the beginning of the fight, the facial expressions told us everything.

So at the end of the episode Chrome Disaster shows up!  Next week it looks like we will get a fight scene between Black Lotus and Chrome, I can’t wait.  It should be brutal.  This week’s Accel World was able to prove that it has promise.  Hopefully the second half of the series will be better than the first.
