Accel World Episode 10 Thoughts

I’m starting to get really sick of how slowly things are developing in this series.  It has been now 10 episodes and it looks like finally the introduction is over and we can get the real plot of the series.  The characters decide it is finally time to hunt down Chrome Disaster.  They plan it so they have plenty of time to catch up to him but wait no their plan is foiled by the Yellow King.  He is one creepy looking character.  Clowns always make me feel uneasy but he does have a stupid name, Yellow Radio.  No one with the name Yellow Radio is intimidating at all.

Despite the fact I found most of this episode dull there was one very important part of the series that took place that should be mentioned.  It was a conversation between our Black Snow Princess (Kuroyukihime) and Haru.  Kuroyukihime talks about how the ability to give someone a copy of Brain Burst and become his or her guardian can only be used once. Haru asks about who her guardian is. When asked, Kuroyukihime replies that it is someone who betrayed her trust. She also explains how a relationship between guardian and protégé is different from others.  A major difference is these people know who each other are in real life.  I hope nether Haru or Kuroyukihime end up betraying each other.

Hopefully now that the cast is actually surrounded, there will finally be some action…unless the characters decided to somehow talk their way out of this one.  Please! More action.  Accel World, take a cue from Jormungand that is a series full of constant action.  If Accel World can’t wow me in the next 2 episodes, I think I will be forced to drop it for the summer season…I’m sorry.
